냉동고기 해동법 How to defrost frozen meat

Have you ever tried to eat meat that was frozen in the freezer, but it didn’t thaw so you rolled your feet?
This is a method I recently discovered, and I’ll introduce a way to quickly defrost the meat in just 10 minutes without losing the juices.
In fact, it is best to thaw frozen meat slowly in the refrigerator.
Slowly defrosting at such a low temperature prevents bacterial growth and protects the juice. 냉동고기 해동법

However!! It’s taking you a long time.
I have to put it in the refrigerator at least a day in advance, but I forget to eat it every day.
Immediately transfer to the refrigerator on the same day.
Even if I put it in the refrigerator in the morning, when I take it out for dinner, it is still frozen.

In that case, you will eventually defrost it in the microwave.
Microwave defrosts quickly, but depending on the amount of meat, it takes an appropriate amount of time. 냉동고기 해동법
It is difficult to match. If you turn it a little more, the meat will be cooked and all the juices will be lost and you will eat something tasteless. It’s OK in 10 minutes!!
If you need to defrost frozen meat in a hurry like me, you can prepare sugar!!

First, pour lukewarm water below 40 degrees into the bowl enough to cover the meat.

If it is hot, the meat will be cooked, so you have to set it to lukewarm temperature.I prepared it at 40 degrees with an electric potter.
Add 2 tablespoons of sugar with a large spoon and melt it.

Soak the meat in water with the sugar dissolved in it for 10 minutes.

No sugar?!! Isn’t the meat sweeter?

Sugar quickly melts the ice crystals between the meat tissues by osmotic pressure.
Besides, it not only keeps the juices, but it also softens the meat. And it doesn’t just make the meat sweet.

When I took it out after 10 minutes, the frozen meat had thawed so that it could be grilled immediately.

Also, less blood came out than when soaked in plain fresh water, so the juice seems to be less.

The reason frozen meat has no taste is because the juices are lost during the defrosting process.

So, if you defrost slowly in the refrigerator, less juice will be lost, so it is the best defrosting method.

If possible, defrost the meat in advance by taking it out of the refrigerator.
If you are in a hurry, you can use sugar water to keep the juice and thaw quickly.
I hope you do it as a workaround~ ^^
