Applications for youth basic income for the fourth quarter of 2020 will begin on November 2nd. Anyone who is 24 years old in Gyeonggi-do and has lived in Gyeonggi-do for more than 3 years or 10 years in total can receive 250,000 won per quarter, up to a maximum of 1 million won, regardless of qualifications such as income.
Youth basic income can be paid in city/county Gyeonggi local currency (electronic card, mobile) according to the quarterly payment base date. In addition, the Gyeonggi local currency paid can be used at traditional markets and small business establishments within the address area, excluding department stores, large supermarkets, corporate supermarkets (SSM), and entertainment establishments.
