How to create a chat room from download

In particular, the number of Zoom users is expected to increase further as meetings are canceled at the end of the year.
These days, it is said that Zoom is used for various video meetings, such as drinking parties on the LAN.

ZOOM What is Zoom?
ZOOM Zoom is a program designed for video conferencing and can be used free of charge for 40 minutes. That’s why I use the Zoom program for online classes, video conferencing, and video lectures.
In Zoom, the person in charge of the meeting is called the host. The host must register as a member, but non-hosts can use it by simply downloading a PC or application without registering.

1. ZOOM access
Enter ‘ZOOM’ on the portal site or the App Store.
If you type ‘zoom’ in Korean, a porter site will appear, so please search in English and enter.
Since it is an overseas program, it can be published in English, so you have to open it in Chrome to translate it into Korean.
When you access Zoom, a blue homepage will appear as shown in the picture above.
Then, scroll all the way to the bottom.
2. Click the Download button
Scroll down to the bottom of the homepage and you will see categories.
First, change ‘English’ to ‘Korean’ in the language.
Second, click the ‘Meeting Client’ button in the Downloads category.
3. Download the ZOOM client for meetings
After entering the Download Center, click the first ‘ZOOM Client for Meetings’ download.
When the installation file appears after downloading, click it again and install it.
After loading for about 10 seconds, the installation was completed and the icon was created.
If you use Zoom frequently, you can use it conveniently later by dragging the icon to the desktop, right?

When the zoom installation is complete, click the ZOOM icon to run it.
Then two items appear.
– Heeui Participation: Participation without membership registration (participant)
– Login: Requires membership registration (organizer)
Let’s take a closer look at each item.
1. Meeting participation (participant)
To participate in a meeting, you can receive a meeting ID or a personal link shared from the host (lecturer) without registering as a member, set a nickname without logging in, and then participate in the virtual meeting.
If I need to become the host, please sign up as a member and log in using the method below.
2. Login (organizer)
If you are the organizer of the meeting, you can create a chat room by logging in after registering as a member.
If you have already registered as a member, please log in by entering your email and password and create a chat room.
If you need to register as a member, please click the [Free signup] button at the bottom.
Enter your date of birth and agree to the policy.
To sign up, you will be asked to enter your email address. It can also be used with Google Eye.
So I logged in with my Google ID and clicked Create Account.

Click the zoom icon to log in and the window above will appear. You can create a chat room by clicking ‘New Meeting’ here.
So now I have to call people, right? Click the ‘Participant’ button at the bottom and then click ‘Invite’.
Click ‘Copy invitation link’ at the bottom.
Pass the copied link to the people you want to chat with. I sent it through kakaotalk.
The important point is that all participants must have the Zoom program or application installed to be able to access.
