You can easily check the company in charge of your area by searching the customer center on the City Gas Association website. There are 7 companies in the metropolitan area alone, and 34 companies nationwide. Let’s take a closer look at the image below.
You can also select through the map. There is only one city gas company in Busan, Ulsan, Daegu, and Jeju Island, so you don’t need to search for a district.
When I searched for the area in Namyangju-si, Gyeonggi-do, where I live, a company called Yesco was in charge. Please visit the Yesco website. You can check by entering the payment number in the simple rate inquiry at the bottom. Please note that depending on the site, you may need to log in after registering as a member.
The payment number can be found in the mail of the notice as shown in the image above. If you have moved and do not have a utility bill notice, please contact the customer center of the site.
To check the city gas rate with ARS, simply call 1544-3131, select the rate inquiry, and enter the payment number to check it. Also, please note that the site can handle various tasks such as checking unpaid charges, paying by card, and applying for automatic debit.
