This will be short since I am in the middle of a move. Never did think I would be happy to be going back to Southern Illinois, the land where people do use turn signals. I am 34 and heavily into Buffy, Pantera, Aliens, Hockey, and about 500 other things. I am dipping my toes in POTC. Some like Mr. Smith I know from other boards. Anyway here are some quick pics. I will do a detailed post once I get settled.

Waltonville. About 8 miles south of Mount Vernon where 57 and 64 cross. I am directly 90 miles east of St. Louis and 90 west of Evansville. 400 and change south of Chicago. Got my degree in engineeering from SIUC. I worked for Toyota and quit. I am a silly donkey. My brother still works there.

I some how missed these in all the confusion after
our wild shopping spree......
Way cool costume, Bird!! Taken at RenFest??
This weekend is Pirate weekend at RenFest.......
and a million-other-things-going-on weekend....
why does everything all have to happen on the same weekend.....??
we voted to go to Ballunar Lift-Off.............

Yup Sparrowhead and I attended a couple of weekends ago in full steampunk gear with a crew of miscreants including the famous Jill of Swagarts.
I also went back for the pirate weekend with my manager... I was Jack of course. I'm going to post a thread about it including the story of the ONLY negative experience I had that day... but, not until I get the pics from my manager this evening because I don't want to be picketed for no pics in my thread

actually we only drove through Houston once... on the way there the first time. We took the back way home...
second time I look the long way round both ways to avoid Houston at all costs... no offence i just hate the traffic and freeway confusion..
